Can't believe October is already over. The month started with a visit from Grandma Anderson and Aunt Lyris. That same weekend we hosted a big harvest party with our friends and neighborhood association. A visit by Fire Engine 2 was a huge hit with all the kids, and the BFD Pipes and Drums band and singer Brandon were a hit with all the adults.
We made 2 trips to Moscow to visit family. Karen spend her 1st night away from Ella (had to work in Coeur d'Alene). It was a litte lonely, but she survived it. Ella is such a Daddy's girl already, that she didn't mind at all. And she was so distracted by playing with her cousins Brinley and Natalie she didn't even know Mom wasn't around.
Our second trip took us back for U of I Homecoming and Halloween. The Genesee Lowe's hosted a pumpkin carving on Friday night. Saturday started with the parade, brunch at the Pi Beta Phi house, then tailgating and the big game. After the game we attempted to trick-or-treat with Brinley and Natalie, but Ella was getting a little tired, so we ended up staying with Great Grandma Lowe for the evening. Sunday we had a wonderful brunch at the Barker's with a group of friends from Moscow, followed by dinner and Shane's dad's.
Rogan has adapted to the new addition to our family quite well. He still gets a few walks a day, some tug time, and of course still claims his spot on our bed! In other words, he is still extremely spoiled. He also spend a lot of time with Emma the month, one week at his house and a couple at Emma's.
